GTM Engineer, AI Innovation

Prepr | GTM (Marketing & Sales) | Full-time | Hybrid, Utrecht
Reports to the GTM Lead (Marketing & Sales).

About Prepr

Prepr is a headless CMS that helps companies deliver personalized content across every channel. We're a fast-moving, product-led team, and we're now applying that same builder mindset to our own go-to-market function.

About the role

We're looking for a GTM Engineer, AI Innovation to help turn our marketing and sales organization into an AI-native GTM team.

You'll work directly alongside our marketing and sales teams to identify where AI can fundamentally improve the way we work, and then build the systems, integrations, agents, and workflows to make that happen. This isn't about experimenting with AI on the side or adding isolated automations. It's about creating a connected foundation that makes AI a practical part of how our GTM team operates every day.

A key part of the role will be building and maintaining a trusted context layer that brings together what we know about our customers, accounts, content, product, and processes. You'll connect that context to the tools our teams already use and build AI-powered workflows that help people work faster, make better decisions, and collaborate more effectively across marketing and sales.

You'll be embedded in the GTM team rather than working from a separate engineering or platform function. That means understanding how people actually work, spotting opportunities for improvement, building solutions quickly, and refining them based on real-world use.

The goal isn't to create a collection of automations that only you know how to maintain. It's to build systems that become part of how the team works and give people the knowledge and tools to use and extend them independently.

What you'll do

Build our AI-native GTM foundation
  • Build and maintain a governed context database that brings together key GTM information, including accounts, content, playbooks, and product knowledge
  • Connect this context to the tools our marketing and sales teams already use, including our CRM, marketing automation platform, Notion, and communication tools
  • Create reliable data flows between systems so information is available where it's needed without manual copy-pasting
  • Define practical standards for data quality, content ownership, and update processes so the context remains accurate and trustworthy
Build AI workflows that change how we work
  • Design and deploy AI agents and workflows that solve real marketing and sales problems
  • Integrate AI APIs, MCP servers, and other AI capabilities into our existing GTM stack
  • Create reusable AI skills, prompt templates, and playbooks that help non-technical teammates get consistent, high-quality results
  • Work directly with marketers and sales reps to identify repetitive or inefficient processes and turn them into smarter, AI-assisted workflows
  • Prototype new AI-native applications as our capabilities develop, including potential customer-facing use cases such as an AI-powered assistant for Prepr.io
Drive adoption and continuous improvement
  • Train the GTM team through hands-on working sessions, documentation, and practical examples
  • Make sure the systems you build are understandable and maintainable, rather than dependent on you for every change
  • Track how workflows are being used and improve them based on feedback and results
  • Stay close to developments in AI and evaluate new tools, models, and platforms as they emerge
  • Make pragmatic build-vs-buy recommendations based on impact, maintainability, cost, and fit with our existing stack

What we're looking for

AI is moving quickly, so we're less interested in a specific number of years of experience or a particular job title. What matters more is that you're actively building with AI, closely follow how the technology is developing, and can turn new capabilities into practical solutions that people actually use.

This could be a great fit for someone relatively early in their career who has already spent significant time building with AI tools and enjoys experimenting, learning quickly, and turning ideas into working systems.

Must have
  • Hands-on experience building with AI, whether through agents, automations, integrations, or AI-powered workflows
  • Experience working with AI APIs and tools such as Anthropic/Claude, OpenAI, MCP, or similar technologies
  • Comfortable working with APIs, integrations, and scripting to connect systems and troubleshoot technical issues
  • An understanding of how data moves between business systems and how to build reliable workflows around it
  • Familiarity with marketing and sales tools such as CRMs and marketing automation platforms
  • The ability to move from experimentation to something people can reliably use in their day-to-day work
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate between technical possibilities and practical marketing and sales needs
  • A willingness to teach, document, and hand over what you build so others can use and extend it
Nice to have
  • Experience with Notion or a similar workspace or knowledge management platform
  • Experience in RevOps, marketing operations, sales operations, or another GTM-focused role
  • Experience working with data governance, knowledge management, or content ownership models
  • Experience building internal AI tools or systems for non-technical users
  • Previous experience in B2B SaaS

What success looks like

The systems you build become part of how our marketing and sales teams work every day, rather than remaining isolated experiments or tools.

Our GTM context is trusted, current, and accessible across the tools and workflows where people need it.

Manual and repetitive processes are replaced by reliable AI-assisted workflows that save time and improve the quality and consistency of our work.

Most importantly, the team becomes increasingly self-sufficient: people understand how to use the systems you've built, can identify new opportunities themselves, and don't need you in the loop for every workflow or change.

What we offer

  • A challenging role at a fast-growing B2B SaaS company, with plenty of room to learn, experiment, and grow
  • The opportunity to have a direct impact on how Prepr builds and develops an AI-native go-to-market organization
  • A motivated and experienced team where your ideas and initiative are valued
  • A MacBook and the hardware you need to do your best work
  • A great workplace in Utrecht, just a 2-minute walk from Utrecht Central Station
  • A hybrid working setup, with flexibility to work both from home and from our Utrecht office
  • Lunch at the office every day and Friday afternoon drinks with the team
  • Quarterly company get-togethers with good food and drinks
  • A competitive salary and secondary benefits
  • Vacation days and vacation pay
  • Support for your personal development and growth
  • Access to the Jaarbeurs Innovation Mile community
  • A 24–40 hour work week, with flexibility in how you schedule your working hours

How to apply

Interested in helping us build an AI-native GTM organization? We'd love to hear from you.
