ZorgpleinNoord operates a digital platform that brings together employers, professionals and job seekers in the healthcare and welfare sector.

Through the platform, organizations can publish job vacancies and share information about career opportunities, training programs and development paths. Job seekers can explore more than 1,000 active vacancies, discover employers in the region and find guidance for their next career step.

Vacancy data from connected systems is integrated into the platform and combined with editorial content about careers, professional development and sector initiatives.

Together, these elements create a digital ecosystem that supports recruitment, career orientation and collaboration across the healthcare sector.

By bringing together hundreds of organizations and thousands of job opportunities, the ZorgpleinNoord platform plays an important role in addressing labor shortages in healthcare and welfare across Northern Netherlands.

The platform helps professionals discover new career opportunities while enabling organizations to connect with talent and collaborate across the region.

The healthcare and welfare sector in the Netherlands faces growing labor shortages. Demand for well-trained professionals continues to increase, while the inflow of new employees remains limited.

To address this challenge, the Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport launched the Future-Proof Labor Market in Healthcare (TAZ) program, encouraging stronger regional collaboration between healthcare organizations and more sustainable employment models.

In Northern Netherlands, ZorgpleinNoord plays a key role in connecting employers, professionals and job seekers. As the regional employers’ organization for healthcare and welfare in Groningen, Friesland and Drenthe, the organization supports more than 300 affiliated institutions and helps professionals discover opportunities across the sector.

The ZorgpleinNoord platform is powered by Prepr, which serves as the content platform behind the website. As a headless CMS, Prepr enables the organization to manage editorial content, organizational information and platform pages in a flexible way, while integrating with the systems that provide vacancy and labor market data.

The platform was developed in collaboration with digital agency theFactor.e, who supported ZorgpleinNoord in shaping its digital strategy and platform experience.

The result is a scalable digital platform that can evolve as the needs of the healthcare labor market continue to change.
